The Board
The Parents and Guardians Association (PGA) of the Department of Greek Language & Culture of (ΤΕΓ) The Hague has as its main purpose the support of the smooth operation of the ELC of The Hague as well as the strengthening of the contact of the students of the ΤΕΓ of The Hague with Greece, culture and history.
The Association operates as a legal entity and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce of the Netherlands under the name "Aristotles" and registration number KvK74786458).
The Association is a non-profit organisation and its financial resources (membership fees and donations from members) are used exclusively to meet the needs of ΤΕΓ The Hague.
The Association operates on the basis of the rules of operation decided by the General Assembly.
The Board of Directors of the Parents and Guardians Association of ΤΕΓ the Hague is elected at the first General Assembly of the school year and has a term of office of one year.
In the school year 2024-2025 the Board consists of 8 members.
Panagiotis Psychogios
Chairman
He has been living in the Netherlands since 2008. He is the father of four children aged 23, 7, 3 and 1.
He works for a multinational technology company, specialising in information systems security.
Angeliki Lazari
Secretary 1
Mother of three children aged 7, 9 and 11. She is a graduate of the University of Athens and holds two Master degrees in the field of education.
She works as a digital solutions implementation and literacy consultant.
Michalis Verlis
Secretary 2
He has been living in the Netherlands since 2016 and has a child born in the same year. He studied Biomedical Engineering at TEI Athens and works in technical support of imaging systems.
Sotiris Michaleas
Treasurer 1
He has two children aged 15 and 16. He has studied Pharmacology at the University of Athens and holds a PhD degree. He works at the European Medicines Agency.
Aikaterini Stasinopoylou
Treasurer 2
She has been living in the Netherlands since 2016 and has an 8-year-old child. He studied architecture at the University of Thessaly and works as an interior architect. She is a co-owner and co-founder of Mikkro Interior Architecture.
Giannis Lyratzis
Member
He has been living in the Netherlands since 2010 and has two children aged 8 and 12. He studied Chemistry at the University of Münster in Germany and holds a PhD degree. He works in a multinational company as a consultant for intellectual property protection (patents).
Dimitris Pavlopoulos
Member
He has been living in the Netherlands since 2003 and has two children aged 7 and 12. He studied Mathematics and Economics in Athens and has a PhD from Tilburg University. He works as an associate professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
George Papaioannou
Member
He has been living in The Hague with his family since January 2022.
He is father of two children aged 6 and 8 and guardian of his brother, born with Down's syndrome. He works as a research manager in the field of marine engineering.
